My passion has always been to care for those who are hurt. In my own life, I’ve come to know that life isn’t easy and that we were never designed to live and struggle alone. That’s why I’m so passionate about biblical counselling as it provides both the means to care for people and content necessary for life change – the Bible!  

The heartbeat of Durham Biblical Counselling (DBC) is 2 Corinthians 3:18, which testifies to this point, that we were made to be in relationship, first and foremost, with the Lord. And it’s from this relationship that we see transformation. Transformation does not come from within, but from the Lord.

Throughout my entire life, God has given me a desire to see people come to faith, believers move to spiritual maturity, and witness healing for those who are hurt. I believe firmly in the power of God to transform lives and see life change take place as people fully commit to Him. Through my volunteer, employment, post-secondary, postgraduate learning, and ACBC certification (Association of Certified Biblical Counselors), I have grown both in my appetite and competency to lead and counsel those who need love, support and wisdom.

Whatever it is that you are wrestling with, its my heart is to encourage you and for you to know that you are loved.
